Andy Goldsworthy

i think andy goldsworthy is a really good photographer and should be highly respected. His work takes an immense amount of time and patience, which are two things i don't have. Everything he accomplishes is a work of art in themselves, and his pictures just portray them in a whole new way. My goal is to create something as crazy as he does, just on a smaller scale:).

Macro Pictures

I think this picture is most successful becuase of the overall composition and colors incorporated. If i could go back i would make the top of the bottle less blurry, and maybe put the objects on a different countertop, a darker one.

This is my least favorite picture because i had to use a flash in order to take it, and the white beads on the redballs just got too shiny and reflective. I also didn't notice theres a random pine cone in the corner.
I like this picture because the focal point is the flower bunch on the lower right corner, and the stems of the other flowers lead your eye to it. If i could change something i would make the colors more vibrant and incorporate one more object in it.

This pictures composition i think is pretty successful although i don't like how bright the tree trunk is and how dark the tree limb is.

Digital Montage

I chose this picture becuase i wanted to create montages that were unreal and this was a pretty simple idea. I chose Travis Barker because Blink 182 is one of my favorite bands, although i think i made him too opaque. I didn't really know how to make him look like he was inside of the cup, maybe i should have made the glass more see through?
My idea for this picture was to make the sky look even more dreamlike by adding stars, although it all just got darker so it didn't work out like i would have wanted. I chose this picture because it looks like a really peacefull and unreal scene.
