1. This picture is the least favorite out of the three for me. I ran out of ideas, and just wanted to stay with the theme. However this well portrays the innocence factor because her smile and face to me show just that. I used some color in her ribbon, tutu, eyes, and lips to keep it interesting. Although it doesn't follow the rule of thirds i think it stays pretty interesting.
2. I wanted something more interesting for this mirror picture because they are so over done. So i chose to create the backround water color and focus on Sarah. I like the shiny ness? of the ribbon in her hair, it creates good focal point. I also didn't want anything in the backround to get too distracting so i think the filter works well in that.
3. This is definitely my favorite picture for many reasons. It took the most time, especially creating a good backround, and i think the light source matches well with the first image on the left. It well portrays innocence because its a young girl in ballett and i dont know it just seems innocent to me. I used a film grain filter on each of the images inserted to keep it interesting, i also lowered the brightness in those that were further back to create a bigger depth of field. Overall i think it turned out pretty decent.

I think my photography skills have grown a lot throughout this class, i just wish i would have taken more advantage of it. Photoshop has so many tools that create endless picture possibilities it just takes a lot of time to get used to working it! In the beggining i didn't really understand how important every single element of a picture is.. (sharpness, color, contrast, setting, lighting, shadows, ect) Although i think i've developed a better "eye" for a good composition. Im not sure if i have developed a specific style of photo but i have definitely tried to mix things up with each project i did. Filters and adjustments can create really cool affects to each picture making it that much more successful. In the future i hope to continue taking more pictures and using my knowledge from this class to make them that much better!
